Acceptable Use Policy
These rules apply to everything published through Qarta. They exist so diners can trust what they read on a menu.
Content rules
- Publish menus only for venues you are authorised to represent.
- Keep prices, dish descriptions and allergen labels accurate and up to date. Do not publish an allergen label you have not verified.
- Upload only photographs you have the right to use. Do not upload images in which staff or guests are identifiable without their consent.
- Do not publish unlawful, deceptive, hateful or infringing content, or content unsuitable for a general audience.
- Do not present a dish photo in a way that misrepresents what is served, such as showing portions, ingredients or garnishes the diner will not receive.
Technical rules
- Do not probe, scan, overload or attempt to bypass the security or access controls of the service.
- Do not scrape or bulk download other venues' menus, or use the table assistant to generate content unrelated to the menu.
- Do not resell or white label the service without a written agreement.
Reporting and enforcement
Report a menu that breaks these rules to hello@qarta.online. We may unpublish content or suspend an account that breaches this policy, and will tell the account holder what happened and why where we are permitted to.
